Shortly after I moved house, I was driving through my new neighbourhood and took what I thought would be a short cut and got completely lost. I noticed that some of the roads and houses where I was driving were unlike anything I’d ever seen before in Hull, and reminded me particularly of suburban housing estates from American films. I liked the idea of coming home to somewhere which didn’t really fit with everywhere else in the city. "Come Home" is a series of postcards about houses/places, that just don't seem to fit in with their surroundings.
