Aftermath

Location: Copies available from wincolmlee@yahoo.co.uk

Armed only with a pen, a notebook and an inquiring mind, Philip Wincolmlee Barnes (a former Performance Artist, and now a dedicated Man of Letters) will be visiting and reporting on the events and places associated with the 'Latitude' project.

He will not limit his approach by discussing these works in isolation, but will explore them in relation to environmental and cultural changes taking place within his hometown of Hull. He will seek “cross-fertilisations” between these works and their chosen settings, exploring them for social and historical coincidences (…be these strictly factual or outrageously fanciful).

Using playful literary techniques and conceits, 'Aftermath' will be a cross between an artistic dialogue in its own right, and a kind of “alternative” Local History or Tourist Guide.

Copies of 'Aftermath' will be available to visitors to Latitude after its publication, free of charge, by emailing a postal address to wincolmlee@yahoo.co.uk

To find out very little about this elusive individual, pop the words 'Barnes', 'Wincolmlee' and 'Philip' into your local search engine.

Philip Wincolmlee Barnes is an Artist & Writer working in the fields of Live Performance, the Visual Arts, and Literature and Media projects.
